Fully Alive Ministries is lead by Kathy Tarr. The greatest passion of Kathy’s life is to unveil the superior beauty of Jesus Christ through teaching the Word of God.” This passion led Kathy to establish Fully Alive Ministries, a ministry committed to helping others know the fullness, presence and power of Jesus Christ, as revealed in the Scriptures.
For the past 38 years, she has pursued this passion alongside her husband Jack, a Family Practice Physician, through their shared calling to family, ministry and medicine. They moved their family to Knoxville in 1986, to plant Fellowship Church, where Jack served as an elder and Kathy established the Women’s Ministry. They have been a part of planting three other churches in the East Tennessee area. Jack also established Family Care Specialists, a ten-provider Medical Clinic in Knoxville.
Having received theological training from both Southern Seminary and King’s Seminary, Kathy currently has the joy of leading Fully Alive Bible Studies, Women’s Conferences/Retreats/Seminars, Prayer Events and Children’s Ministries locally and internationally.
She and Jack have six children and five grandchildren. They minister together locally, with their son, Nathan and daughter-in-law, Devon at Christ Church in Knoxville, TN.
